What I do is I dab some polish on the sponge and I start to dab it on when the First coat is dry and then I wait for the ombre color to Dry then dab some more till I'm satisfied with the color :) I don't know if that helps but I hope it did.

Humm okay. I think it may be because I jump on the next layer too quick and don't let it dry. Lol. do you apply more nail polish to the sponge for each layer? Also do you wet the sponge or leave it dry? I'm not sure if that's even a thing with nails. Lol.

Yeah it could be that's why I wait till it dries. each hand takes about 30 min for me to tell you the truth lol. and yes I do apply more after each layer because it dries off too quickly on the sponge. I leave the sponge dry I've actually never thought about wetting it before so if you'd like you can try both? :)

Okay thank you! I'm going to try it again tomorrow so hopefully it works! :D Do you have any tricks on keeping the skin around your nails clean? I've seen some videos where they peel something off their finger but I couldn't figure out what exactly they used.

They use glue haha or you can put some hand cream around the nails, and then wipe it off.
