Sonia Kashuk definitely has some great brushes. I also really like Ecotools and the Real Techniques line. If you're willing to spend a little more money the Sephora brand brushes are amazing!!

Jacqueline loves Hakuhodo brushes, though they are a little pricy.
Right now I love my Sigma and MAC brushes for contouring and blush needs.

I would not suggest Hakuhodo unless you collect makeup or are a MUA, as they run at about 100$ per brush. Real techniques or Sedona Lace sell amazing quality brushes which aren't super expensive and you can always buy a set. I've also found that they're extremely soft and they have minimal shedding. Hope this helps :)
