How long had you waited between stretches and what size were you trying to get in?

I don't remember really, I stretched from 6g to 4g.

I remember when I went to 8mm my left ear tore a little even when I'd waited 2 months to do it, sometimes one ear can be a little more stubborn then the other, what is recommended is that you switch back to the size it was beforehand so it can heal properly, I say that because you don't want to get a blowout. But if you're going to keep this size in you'll need to clean your lobes with a salt solution to prevent them getting infected and keep it healing. Cleaning is important if you want them to be healthy, especially if you tore it.

I don't think I did tear it goes my friend looked at it and told it looked good but a little red tho, but I think I hit the bump there was in that earlobe.

If it bled then it was torn, ears shouldn't bleed when you're stretching them.

Shouldn't it hurt then?

Stretching usually never hurt for me. The only stretch that hurt was my 2g to 0g transition. And yeah I agree with shaye! Mine never bled. If it bled then it was torn. Did you use a lubricant on the tapers?
