Ok so I have oily skin and I breakout on my forehead often. I just started a routine where in the morning I will wash my face with Clean n Clear Morning Burst, and at night use Clean n Clear blackhead scrub. Is that ok? I still have oily skin in the afternoon though and it bothers me. I don't really wear any makeup. My friend told me I should try the Clean n Clear oil absorbing sheets, do they work? Sorry for such a big request.

You still have to moisturize even if your oily and clean n clear strips your skin so it will make you produce more oil.and you also don't want to use a manual scrub daily it's to harsh on the skin twice a week is plenty

Don't use a scrub everyday. I recommend Cetaphil for both morning and night, then once a week use a scrub and never forget to moisturize, twice a day, everyday.

I swear by the clean and clear absorbing sheets!! I don't think they really help with blackheads, but they really help with shine and extra oil.

Ok. Thanks so much. And this might be a dumb question, but what is a moisturizer? Is it like lotion?

The beads in scrubs actually spread oil around your face. I agree with Ashley that you should only be exfoliating about once or twice a week and using something gentle for everyday. When you do exfoliate I would try to find one with lemon or some other kind of acid to exfoliate vs. the beads.

Your stripping your lipids off, so your skin is over producing to compensate for the loss. You need a fatty lapid barrier to retain hydration and protect skin. Clean and clear is a very bad line. It causes more problems... of every storebrand, thats worst offender in my clientele. Educate, learn about the skin, its functions, and basic product knowledge. Learn to read labels. Its so important. The beauty industry is based on insecurity, and exploiting it. There are wonderful lines out there. But you have to know better, cause the beauty industry dosent want you to.

Sorry for rant, this is an up hill battle for aestheticians
