I'm On My Natural Journey & It Hasn't Been Long, Only About 4 1/2 months. But My New Growth Is Absolutely Ridiculous. I'm Thinking About Doing A Mini Chop..
Would That Be Helpful? Or Should I Just Do A Big Chop?

With a relaxer its going to take some time for it to all grow out. It took me a LONG time to grow mine out and I didn't go thru a chop at all. If you want to speed up the process and just be done with it I suggest a big chop. Followed by intensive deep conditioning to help that new growth along. And application of natural oils such as jojoba oil to soothe the scalp and help with follicle growth. Its gonna be a journey but so worth it in the end.

if you want to keep your current length then just let your hair grow out and purchase a multi-vitamin such as biotin to speed the process for your hair to grow out.

I opted for the big chop when I first went natural. I opted for locks & have been wearing them for almost 2yrs. My daughter who went natural a yr ago didn't do a big chop. Her hair is past her shoulders. If you condition & moisturize both your hair & scalp a big chop doesn't have to be an option. You may also want to braids.
