Any clarifying shampoo should work. My favorite for getting rid of buildup and stuff is actually baby shampoo though haha.

I like the awapuhi line by Paul Mitchell works great to deep clean without stripping moisture from my hair.

Yeah! Any baby shampoo. I use it for cleaning my brushes. I go to the dollar store and buy some. It's the Johnson's one that I have now. But I ran out of shampoo one day and had to use it, and it made my hair feel so clean and had no buildup. It cleared the build up better than the clarifying shampoo I was using before, which was the herbal essences one. It strips color easily though so don't use it too often :)
