Just put it up it's supposed to be messy not neat. I usually just take all my hair put it in my hand and twist my hair tie around it twice and whatever falls out falls out it's not hard at all just find something that works for you

-pull it into a ponytail but not completely
-pull the elastic over the bun
-fray the bun outwards around the elastic so it looks like a donut
-pull pieces out and just make it look messy :)
You could also tease it for volume and just run your fingers through the front to make it look more loose and messy

-put it in a high pony tail ( if you want a high bun)
-twist the hair around to the end
-wrap the hair around the ponytail
-secure the loose end with a bobby pin or wrap another hair tie around the bun.
-pull at it a little until it looks good
-make sure it doesn't come out with bobby pins.
Also, there are YouTube tutorials on them. (:

I always just flip my head over, gather all my hair, then stand back up straight, and bunch my hair all up and then out a hair tie or two around it. Then to make it look messier I pull some bits out, or to stick parts into place I use bobby pins :)
