invest in a gel kit system that comes with a UV lamp- I use the Sensationail by Nailene. Or try doing what I've been doing which is purchasing the Nailene brush on glue. it's suppose to repair natural nails that has chipped but I use it all over my nails and wait for 15 seconds to dry then buff. It seriously hardens your nail instantly for weeks. I have really long nails now :-D and the gel system just adds a big oomph!

Try nailtiques. It's a lifesaver!!! They have multiple formulas for weak & damaged nails. I came across their products when I stopped using acrylics & wanted to go back natural & it was the best product ever. The large bottle runs about $17 at Ulta & CVS or order for a little cheaper on amazon but totally worth the money. I even use as my top coat. I'm never without my nailtiques. Good luck

The blog mark recommends says not to use nail strengtheners. Interesting.

If you want something safe and natural try garlic. It stinks but it works amazing! You can wash your hands after and your nails will still be hard. (:

I chop up garlic and put it in clear polish. Apply 1-2 coats a few times a week. A multi vitamin or prenatal pills also make a huge difference.
