I tried it and it didn't make my hair curly it just went frizzy. maybe it might work on your hair as I have really thick hair.

I tried it but it just frizzed everything up and my hair was still damp from when I got it wet the night before cuz I thought it would set it better. But I had long thick hair then, now my hair has shorter layers and it might work better. If you're scared of undoing the headband because it might turn out frizzy, just leave it as a Greekian hair style.
