My 4 month old niece passed away this week and the funeral arrangements are being made today. What makeup is appropriate to wear to a viewing/funeral?

I want to look nice but I dont want to over do it. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Oh my! I'm sorry for your family's loss. Personally when it comes to funerals I don't even bother with makeup and just only rely on subdued lipgloss because with all the crying and hugging I don't want all the makeup merging all together due to crying. I was just keep it super low key. Maybe a dusty mauve blush for the cheeks, a subdued nude eye consisting of various shades of brown and keeping it to three shades max. A touch of mascara and a nude lippie. Once again I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Thank you Shelley. It's been really hard. My family and I have a strong faith in God and it has really helped, but it's still hard.

If you know you're gonna cry, I wouldn't even bother wearing makeup. Unless you've got waterproof eyeliner/mascara on hand.
