Temptu AIR - great for face work and stenciling, and even self tanning. Very light and portable. Their larger compressors are less portable but are great for body work.
My new fave for portability is the Stilazzi NSA compressor. Fits under my arm in a leather pouch and packs a lot of punch. I'd go with the Stilazzi compressor and then go get Temptu or OCC foundations. OCC's vegan water-based is the bomb as well as Temptu's s/b. The creator of OCC is a super cool guy and he really knows his stuff, if you can make it to the shows, you should definitely go talk to him. Mention my brand, Give Good Face, at Stilazzi and I'm sure they'll hook you up with a discount.

I wanted to buy a airbrush, but I don't really know enough about them to make a decision. I have two in mind though. MAC and TEMPTU. I have discounts for both. And price doesn't matter. I wanted to know which one would be better. I just assumed the most expensive would be better. But I would love input. TEMPTU has more options. (Compressors and Colors) Is the most expensive TEMPTU the way to go? Or is the MAC one awesome? Thanks! Here are the links..

I've used Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics airbrush system and I've had great results with it. Plus if you are a pro or have a pro license you get a discount!

Yeah, I have a pro discount with them as well. It's just hard to decide. I think I might end up going with the TEMPTU. (Not sure which one) Because I like their selection of colors. And I might try and make a few bucks doing stencil tattoos at the fair or something. Thanks for letting me know, I'll totally check out that one too! :)

I got my temptu and they had to exchange my compressor and I still don't feel it works well. The gun get clogged up all the time too and I clean it immediately.
I stopped using temptu for that reason but I am so mad, I have all the stuff for it. Right now I am using Ketts and OCC and those formulas are working great. I just don't have a silicone base one :( For compressor I did get me a bigger one, not as portable but it works and get the job done super quick.

That's weird Patricia! Silicone formulas are thicker, maybe there's an issue with the gun you're using or a possible clog in the well or against the needle? Have you tried completely disassembling? When I first started using silicone, I had the same issues until I realized that it was building up in the well. Hope that helps!
Patricia S.
Hi Jordan,
yes I have and always disassemble the guns, I even got one for just silicone and got the bigger nozzle and needle.

That's weird....never heard of that problem before! Might just be bad luck? You're definitely missing out!
Patricia S.
I am happy with my other options, wish I could just say the same about temptu and I am not the only one. I have come accross quite a few mua that are having the same issue.
Jordan L.
Like I said, very odd. Some of my friends that do movies out in LA almost exclusively use Temptu...and it's my #1 bridal foundation! Sucks that you're having such a problem!
