Oils are the best solution. Olive oil is the fattiest, but it isn't as easily absorbed as grapeseed oil is. I would try a grapeseed hot oil treatment (overnight). Once you have showered you should spray some coconut oil onto the midsections and ends of your hair so that it can act as a shield and then use heat stylers. Hint: Put the coconut oil in a spray bottle so that it's easy to put on your hair.

I had the same issue and started using a leave-in I found at Sally. The brand is "Proclaim" and they have a few varieties. I used the serum with olive oil and my hair was incredibly soft, moisturized and shiny. I think it's about $7 a bottle and you only use a few drops at a time. I will swear by this stuff!
