I need a new foundation that's not to sheer but I really don't see a big difference in Drugstore (such as maybelline or covergirl) and brands such as mac. Mac is always a great choice but I never heard amazing things about their foundation, so is there any good suggestions for drugstore foundations??

I like revlon color stay foundations. It give good coverage. But it's not too heavy.
I also kind of like the maybelline instance age rewind foundation. It's a little bit lighter coverage and it took me a while to get use to but it feels like your putting silk on your face.

Also I havnt tried these personally, but I've herd good things about the new mousse foundations for various drug store brands.
Hope this helps!

If you like light weight foundations you should try the new maybelline dream nude air form foundation. It's a mousse texture it looks really good and natural, but you have to know how to apply it on first b/c if you put too much it will look cakey.

I am happy with the Rimmel 25 hour foundation.

GOSH is great!!!

I've never found a drugstore foundation that I can honestly say I LOVE. But the best one I've tried would have to be the Revlon Color Stay, even though I find it to be heavy and sometimes gets cakey. I also really, really liked the Covergirl Nature Luxe foundation over the summer, it has nice coverage and an amazing finish...It would probably be my #1 favorite foundation ever, if it weren't for the fact that is has little to NO lasting power. This crap wears off SO fast even with a primer and setting powder.

I love Revlon Color Stay! Amazing coverage, but it can be slightly drying-- even the ones made for dry skin! Apply a nice moisturizer underneath after you exfoliate and it shouldn't be bad at all.

Revlon Colorstay is my favorite, both for coverage and lasting power. If I want it to be a bit lighter in coverage, the NYX HD Foundation is my next bet, feels like skin, although it doesn't last as long as the Revlon Colorstay. You can also try mixing the two if you want a dewier finish, coz Revlon Colorstay tends to be too mattifying.

I absolutely LOVE the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum for any skin type, with the most natural finish I have ever seen in a product. In the UK, it costs only £10 and is considered to be a drugstore/high street foundation, but I know in Canada, you'd have to pay the same as a high end brand.

Revlon Colorstay is a great foundation if you don't mind the weight. It's not overly heavy, but you can definitely feel it on your skin. It's full coverage but can be sheered out with a touch of moisturiser mixed in, and comes in two formulas: for oily skin and for dry.

I'm surprised you haven't heard great things about MAC foundations. Their Matchmaster is my go-to product (interchangeable with the Bourjois, of course), and their Face & Body is what I use throughout the Summer. The good thing about MAC is that you can ask for samples before purchasing, and the staff are often happy to put it on you so you can test it out for the day.
