My hands are in water a lot in my new job and my nails are really taking the toll. They're starting to peel pretty badly :(
Would a nail stengthener help this? Any product recs are welcome

I'd assume it wouldn't hurt to use one! I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Hardener. It works pretty good for me. My nails are the longest and strongest I've ever been able to have them in my life. It's not really that long at all, but for me it is! I haven't had any problems with it and I use it as a base coat before applying nail polish every time.

A nail strengthener should help your nails. If you want to go the natural route, I found a recipe for a natural nail strengthener if buying one isn't on your budget. You mix 1 tsp wheat germ oil, 2 tsp castor oil and 2 tsp table salt (I used sea salt) and you mix it in a small bowl. I would suggest mixing your ingredients in a small jar or bottle that you can shake up to make it easier. After mixing, coat your nails with the mixture and rub it in. Leave on for about 5-10 min, then wipe off. I tried this out yesterday and my nails feel a little stronger already. I hope this helps!

Nail Magic is a good one. They have been in business for almost 50 years. Sally's has it for sale now for $6.99. Because my nails were so bad I called the company and they told me for the first 2 weeks to apply a cost for 7 days straight then remove it all and repeat, You should see a big difference in the way your nails look. Also get yourself a glass or crystal file. This file is wonderful. You can get it at Sally's also. Hope this helps.

sally hansen hard as nails is good.and so is magic nail.ive heard tapping your nails on the table makes nail hard too.i am using la colors nail super strenght right now,it has a pink tint to it.walmart has it for $1.00. i love it!!!

I'm trying to get the word out about a special at walgreens,check me out for more info,also a product called nutranail nail gel color it is like a hard shell for your nails,does not damage ,comes off with regular remover and it goes on sale next week plus a coupon will be available too at walgreens
