I see a lot of people recommending it as a good product to thicken your hair, and my hair is really thin so I need something like that. I'm really big on keeping my hair soft and shiny, so I wanted to know if it damages your hair at all? Like if it makes it oilier, stiff, dry, or any of that. And if there is a product that's better for hair thickening and less expensive?

My aunt is a hair dresser and she had my mom and I use Nioxin for a while. It basically opens up your pours so that they aren't clogged and can possibly start growing hair. We saw a little difference, but nothing jaw dropping.
