Jordan has prettty much a great check list to what you need.
Also as in for brands.. I use high end brands (MUFE/DOIR) and Low ends as well (nyx/ELF) baiscally its whatever works for the artist and what looks good on the model/client/ CAMERA. Ive acutally had SNOB BRAND CLIENTS, that "THINK" M.A.C is the best PRODUCT ON EARTH,I do have lots of mac
but its not the best, you'll see what works for you and what doesn't. I do recomdend RCMA SHINTO pallete from Carmerareadycosmetics.com
its super, and also has all the skin tone matches you'll need, from pale- very dark, full coverage and great for bridal and Photography, this pallet is a must!! each lil pot i believe does 30 faces. If you take a Look at my photos, 90% of my work is using RCMA SHINTO PALLET!
