looking for a foundation and concealer that covers but doesn't get cakey. I have mild acne and combo oily-dry skin. am willing to go a little more expensive!

Hi Julie. Try mac's studio fix fluid. Very full coverage without looking cakey. I used it in almost all of my fotds and professional photos in my profile if you want to see how it looks!

Revlon Colorstay is great for coverage and doesn't look or feel cakey. The awesome part is that it's available in combo/oily skin. I have been using it for over two years now. My HG foundation. Also MAC's Pro-Longwear foundation is amazing also.

Laura Mercier silk creme! And if you are looking for an under eye concealer I love her secret concealer. If you are looking for a spot concealer then make up for ever full cover =]

A concealer I would highly recommend is Benefit Erase Paste. I use it under my eyes and it works beautifully. On my blemishes I use Benefit Boi-ing. A great way to try out both is to get the Confessions of a Concealaholic

If your sensitive at all, and have acne prone combined with oily skin I would recommend staying away from MAC. I have the exact same skin type and whenever I use their products I always end up sprouting a new blemish or breaking out like crazy, and countless of other people have told me the same... I found that MUFE Face and Body is a really good one for me because the coverage is buildable, it never looks too heavy, and its waterbased, as well as water proof! It really gives you that perfect finish and you can use it all year round! Hope this helps!
