Hi All,

I am the maid of honour at a friend's wedding, and she's asked me to do her hair and make-up. EEEEK!

make sure makeup is natural, and try not to make anything to shimmery, because this will get picked up during pictures. for instance - for a highlight colour under the brow use a matte off white colour. nothing shimmery.
the colour and tone you achieve with the eyemakeup should be very similar to the shade on the lip, keep it fairly uniform, accentuating her natural beauty. no harsh blacks, or bright colours.
Natural is KEY!

Thanks all this has really helped! She is someone who doesn't normally wear much make-up so natural is def the way to go! Any favourite MAC shades you love? That's my make-up of choice here in South Africa - not sure I can find NARS or Shu Uemura :)

@ Mandy K: Her dress has small straps so I was thinking to go for an updo - never thought of asking her what the level of activity will be at the wedding, thanks for that! I would hate it if her hair came out!!
