Natural Exfoliant...SAND

Yesterday I went to the beach and I was playing around with the sand and it darned on me that I can exfoliate my feet and hands. Weird - maybe but hey it worked lol. I wet my feet a tad bit then just rubbed my feet together to make sure I was getting sand all over. Before I got in the water I rubbed some on my legs, the tanning lotion helped it stick. After the beach I went home, showered and moistured. My feet and legs were super soft.

I'd figured I'd share. Something to think about the next time you're at the beach.

Ha! I recently went on holiday, and whilst rolling around in the shallow waves, I too discovered this! It was great I gave my arms and legs a good scrubbing!

Good old nature eh!

Sea salt promotes healing. It helps skin too, eps when using sand! It's a FANTASTIC combo!

Also if you need a cheap exfoliant you can use Baking soda. Just add a little bit of water so it makes a paste and you can use it on your face or body. It works amazingly I use it a lot :)

That's a great idea! I've been using sea salt to exfoliate, I bet sand is great for the rough parts of your body. You could do a whole sea spa day and add seaweed!

I was at the beach last weekend exfoiliating me feet with sand also LOL.
