What's point of foundation..

I see a lot of girls have it caked on..I see other girls look like Barbie dolls because of it? I don't have any acne or discoloration...oh but I do have a cigarette burn on my left cheek.. should I wear it or would it ruin my skin because my face is really clear and really soft I don't want to damage it.. lol.

Bb creams even out skin tone but won't help with the burn. Foundation is for those of us with a few more imporfections(and kids! Ha!!).

Lucky you! If the rest of your skin is clear and all you're concerned about is the burn I'd apply concealer to that area. :)

I think if you want to give it a try you should. but having such nice soft skin I probably won't do it. my skin is fine with make up depending on the band or type. so it honestly depends on your body in my opinion. I hope you choose what you like and stick to it. best of luck. :)

It depends on the foundation, there are a lot of different kinds including the kind thats sheer coverage that you can build up. If you don't really need I think you should just skip on it until you feel curious. Bb creams a good start too but I feel personally that it does almost nothing. Try it out if you want, go to sephora or ulta or wherever and tell them you want a light coverage foundation and you can find one that fits you.

A lot of girls feel insecure of acne, birthmarks, ect. as long as you put primer before foundation its fine but your skin might not be able to breathe.

@Amanda good point! I've seen 12 year olds with cake faces even though they don't have problem skin yet. I used to have CRAZY acne though.
