I have both. It depends on what you want, honestly. Ipsy is more geared toward makeup, while Birchbox is beauty in general. :)

I'm not sure about the waiting list, but the box ships out during the first week of the month and come towards the second week.
I think the products are worth it. :)

Thanks Cheyenne! The only information the website provided was the typical ship date. I was just curious if anyone knew how long they were on the waiting list before getting notification they were getting a shipment.

When I signed up for ipsy, it was middle of January and they notified me I was a subscriber around the middle to end of feb! It all depends I think on how many people sign up as well as others who cancel their subscriptions! :)

Thank you Jamie F. and Staci V..I went ahead and signed up. The confirmation stated I was on the wait list and would be notified when I became a subscriber. So now I will "patiently" wait for my first bag! :) I appreciate the help.

I subscribed in the middle of last month on a Monday and got off the wait list on the Friday of the same week! I think if you subscribe in the month prior you should be off on time for the following month. I'm in Canada so I'm sure my Ipsy bag will be here much later than everyone else's. Also its about $

Well I went ahead and signed up for the glambag on the 10th and just yesterday I got an email stating I am no longer on the waiting list. I will get my first bag in May. Whoohoo! :)
