Yes 90% of high end makeup is worth it. I love it how at my local sephora I can get samples of stuff I want to try and later decide if I should buy it or not. :)

Some stuff is. Like the Naked Pallettes, Smash Box Primer, Mac Lipsticks, and those Benefit highlighters are soo worth the money. :)

I think a lot of it has to do with you and what you are looking for out of your make up and if your really active or not (higher end tends to last longer). But I absolutely agree with everything Caitlin M said!!

I like to buy high end foundation and mascara, but for any other products I like trying new things both drugstore and high end, you can find great products at either price range, although high end is the way to go for super sensitive skin as there is usually less harsh chemicals

I love pretty much all of my high end stuff so I would say yes. I do think it works better than a lot of drugstore stuff does. But obviously a bad product is a bad product regardless of where it comes from. The great thing about buying high end is that you can go to a store and test things, see them and touch the product and really see what its like before buying. And then of course you can ask for samples and try things that way. The return policies are usually very good too. So the way I see it is if you can make an informed decision on the product AND still be able to bring it back if you aren't happy, you really win either way. I think it's very hard to not be satisfied with high end purchases (at least for me) when you're given the option to test products and return things. In my eyes it really is a win/win situation. I find myself being more disappointed I wasted $3 on a bad drugstore product because while $3 isn't a lot, it's still money wasted but it's also usually not worth the hassle to return. Overall I just have a better experience with high end cosmetics.

I have the cs 253 palette too and its literally the best eyeshadow I have ever tried and I have tried a ton of high end eyeshadows! mine was $24 and soo worth it. I agree with the foundation but I haven't found the right one yet but with the concealer I have the coastal scents eclipse palette which was $14 for 16 shades is the best I've found and again I've tried a lot. I do think the mac pigments are worth it though. last forever and are really great.

I can only buy foundation and concealer high end because drug stores do not carry pale enough colors for me. I also normally find that drugstore eyeshadow doesn't work as well as high end. I find eyeliner, mascara, lip stuff and bronzers can go either way most of the time though.

Depends on the product, sometimes the small brands are REALLY good (:

Definitely depends on what it is.. Most high end brands also take more time out to develop certain colors and formulas that really do make a difference..
