I'll tell you what i did! Last summer, my hair was up to my shoulders and now it's at my lower back, like near to my butt! For a year, i stopped using heat in my hair. Like no hairdrying, no flat iron, nothing! I just had flat iron twice, for my birthday and christmas. That's it. I had 3 times a week a hair treatment and massaged my scalp every night. That's it. It went to my shoulders to my lower back in a year. I had only 1 hair cut in this year because since i was not using any heat in my hair, they weren't damaged!
When I was growing my hair out, some things that I felt stimulated the growth (my hair takes forever to grow) were using Mane and Tail shampoo, cutting off dead ends every couple months, and I also took a break from heat for a month and my hair grew a whole 1 1/2 inches that month. Doing it for even longer would be best.
Yess that does work I used no heat in my hair for about 3 months and my hair greww sooo much. But I work at a salon and I reccomend to cut the ends about every 4 months to prevent from split ends and you will have long healthy hair
Play with your hair a lot, tight high ponies and don't use heat like Marjorie Annabel said. Some shampoos help stimulate growth but the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Beautiful Lengths and I'm not sure how that works. There are some pills for it too but you'll have to look into that yourself I have no idea. DEFINITELY TAKE YOUR VITAMINS. Stay healthy, drink lots of water, some vitamins are made specifically for nails and hair. Sorry I'm so clueless I hope I helped nonetheless!
