You should go to a hairdresser and cut off some of your hair, if you do that, your hair will be healthier and get rid off the damaged hair. I would also recommend Maroccanoil treatment, awesome products, and really hydrating!

For dry, dyed, damaged hair, I recommend a l'oreal hair mask. Use this as your daily conditioner and leave it on from the beginning of your shower to the end. Rinse with cool water to avoid excess frizz and damage.also, if you ever dye your hair a strange color and struggle to successfully fix it, buy Color Oops from the drug store. It is available in the boxes hair dye aisle and sells for about 12 dollars. I am blonde and dyed my hair dark red, and after I rinsed it out all my dye was completely gone. It is not damaging, and you can dye hair again within the same day. You won't regret it, it's an amazing product :) hair mask I mentioned:

You're probably going to need to cut some of your hair. When you do, it will make it feel a lot better! I bleach my hair super super light which is quite damaging... I do a couple things to keep my hair feeling healthy and soft
-I have completely eliminated heat styling with the occasional blow dry (on the lowest/cold setting).
-I do coconut oil treatments at least once a week and that's been helping!
-I also do a regular conditioning treatment or hair mask once a week. I like using Hask's Henna n' Placenta hair masks or the L'oreal total repair hair masks
-I use a leave in conditioner after I shower. I love "It's a 10" leave in conditioner for this... That's pretty expensive so a cheaper leave-in I like is "Rock Your Hair" leave-in conditioner or HASK's Placenta and Olive Oil leave in treatment
-I put John Freida's "Frizz-ease" oil in my hair when its damp
-If my hair is looking especially frizzy when its dry, I will put some more Frizz-ease oil or Argan Oil (I like Sexy Hair's Soy Renewal Argan Oil) in my hair just a little at a time since its easy to use way too much and make your hair look greasy
-I use the Organix Coconut Milk Nourishing spray on my dry hair too
-I take Biotin pills to strengthen my hair. A lot of people say these pills will "help your hair grow faster," but I think it really just strengthens my hair, especially at the ends which stops breakage (making it look longer and healthier).

My hair feels great and it is returning to its natural texture which I have not seen in AGES

I also recently bought a Redken conditioner that has proteins in it which should help your hair a lot!
