I don't think anything should happen as long as you rinsed your hair properly after dying it and I think it would be best if you waited until after you have washed it with shampoo just to be sure.

I had red hair and wen I went swimming I'm a chlorine pool. It didnt do much to my hair.it jst made it look a TINY faded. So it will probaly fade your hair a tiny bit.. But if you buy water colors shampoo and conditioner. That will re tint your hair... That's what I used. It's made for red colors.. Every time you use it. It re tints your hair so it won't fade as fast... I would go swimming but make sure you hav a red shampoo lik water colors in the shade fireball(: hope this helps.

You should wash your hair before and after you swim if your hair is color treated. I heard it preserves the color :)

I used to swim every morning when I had red hair. I did use a swim cap most of the time, but I did wet my hair and coat it with conditioner when I wasn't wearing a cap. I don't know if that necessarily helped, but I like to think so! Immediately after I was done doing laps, I would wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner that I added some red protein filler to.

When I go swimming my colour is fine nothing happens, however my friends red hair would run into the pool if she went swimming and had to always wear a swim cap
