1. Eat Right ! You are what you eat.
2. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water each day.
3. NEVER brush your hair while showering ; once your hair is dry, brush from bottom to top.
4. Be very careful with heat. Try to let your hair air dry. If you really need it, use heat protection!
5.Exercise 30 minutes each day.
6.Don't wash your hair everyday, give your hair a change to produce natural oils.
7. Use sulfate free shampoo.
^^^ I got all these from a video that I watched on Beautylish a while ago! It really did help! Good luck(:
omg i'm trying to do the same thing and the length hasnt grown but i have more healthy hair than damaged and it has grown out twice as quick and normal hair growth so heres a few things- try prenatal vitamins or biotin & folic acid and massage your scalp regularly also try to not brush your hair much and use coconut oil or caster oil on your scalp
I addition to the points above, I'd also recommend a daily multivitamin and Biotin, which helps promote stronger, healthier hair. Fish oils are also good. If you can afford them, Viviscal hair vitamins are some of the best on the market. A lot of celebs use them, and I myself have been taking them for about 4 months...my hair and nails grow at an alarming rate...I literally have to color my roots every 3 weeks because my hair has been growing so fast.
Use the mane n' trail shampoo! It's originally for horse, but it works! You could get it at your local sally beauty supply! But I wouldn't suggest getting the conditioner. What I do is, I use it every other day b/c I don't wash my hair everyday. And before I sleep I put my hair up. And my hair grew a few centimeters in probably 2 weeks, but I'm not sure!
Cut your tips regularly [ just a little bit ] :) that is helpful. i cut my tips almost every month and my hair grows about 2 cm [ 0.79 in i guess ;) ] per month, so for me it works very well :D
