tips are extremely damaging for your nails and they do leave them thing and weak as i have learnt that myself, but what helped me was biotin/multivitamin tablets, they made my nails grow superfast. im not advising you to try them unless your sure but they are an option. if thats not an option then there are other ways to get them back in shape, heres a few tips....
1. try to keep them painted at all times, this helps strengthen them allowing them to grow back
2. a good basecoat to help growth.
3. cuticle oil
4. be careful with them ( e.g. dont go doing things that could snap them such as using them to open things ect.)
5. try to keep them away from water as much as you possibly can , the reason being is because water makes them expand and weakens them ( take a look at your nails after having a shower/doing the washing up you will notice that they will be considerably bigger and weaker) and when you do have to keep them in water for long periods of time make sure your careful with them until they return back to normal as they will be of a much higher risk of snapping.
if you follow theese simple tips your nails will be back to normal in no time :)
(ps. i only follow by 5, 4, and 1 and my nails grow very long)
hope this helped :) xx

I use to do fake nails ALL of the time and they were horrible for my nails so tip one; don't get them again. And something that will really help strengthen and grow your nails is vitamins. I take cod-oil vitamins and hair and nail vitamins and my nails are so strong and they have grown a beautiful length!:) hope it works for you too!
