If you are trying to get off false nails, use nail polish removers WITH acetone. If you're just using it for nail polish removal, use non-acetone polish remover. The acetone could harm your nails if it is used oftenly.
Non acetone will work for most situations. Acetone works well for removing glitter, hard to get off polish and false nails. I typically use remover with acetone because I like the results, my nails are still pretty strong and healthy, but that is me personally:)
