Help with dry skin.

I have really dry skin and even when I use a moisturiser before foundation my face looks so flaky and dry. I tried mixing moisturiser with the foundation. my routine is moisturizer after washing face then primer the foundation/moisturiser (which I read to try for dry skin) and it still looks really bad. If anyone can help I would appreciate it greatly!

I have combo skin but I use ponds cold cream at night, you can also use cerave.

Try some hydrating serum and exfoliate regularly.

A lemon and sugar scrub 2-3 times a week and coconut oil as moisturizer before bed.

Thanks for the replies. I tried the sugar scrub and it really leaves my skin soft now I will test how my makeup looks.
