I love eyeliner! I can't find one that will stay in place though, even with a primer! It somehow ends up everywhere around my eyes. My skin is extremely oily. Would love to hear your inputs :)
No matter what primer you use it'll still crease at the end of the day. Try oil control lotion on your eyes or a mattifier. I have oily eyelids too and its a hit or miss. I love nyx liners. I swear by them. Try liquid pen like the physicians formula. Las time, my liner didnt budge was when wearing a mascara base and mascara. I felt like my lashes were a fence to keep my eye liner at bay. Also, dont forget to smudge and set with powder.
Oh, and gel liners work but not as well as liquid liners.
I have oily lids and it I use a gel liner often times without a primer and I have no problems. But if I use UD liner pencils that are waterproof.....forget it. My eyes are a mess after 4 hours with or without primer. Definitely use a primer and then apply some sort of setting powder on top before lining your lids and see if that helps.
Thanks so much for the replies! I will definitely take some advice here. I use too faced shadow insurance but still no luck. I will try to set it with powder before my liner and see if that will work. I haven't tried that before :)
I used to use Revlon Colorstay but after using Mark's No Place To Run Longwear Eyeliner, I won't go back. I've tried but Revlon Colorstay smudges on me and doesn't last.
Mark's wins hands down. http://arioja.mymarkstore.com
You might consider setting your liner with powder too. Rather than using powder prior, wait until you've done your liner, then set with a powder of the same color as your liner. I've used this technique with several oily lid clients and have had zero complaints.
Revlon color stay liquid was what I used to use but now I love the stila pencil it works great for me! A lot of people told me to try the urban decay 1 and that was all over my eyes in an hr
okay I have super oily lids too and I have solidified a regimen that I think works best after trying everythingggg!!! for your skin use a mattifier like Dr.Murad oil control lotion (it's expensive but I only use it where I am really oily, bc I have combo skin overall, so a little goes a long way). I use UD Potion Primer for eye shadows then I go in with a Powder shadow base, a color close to your skin, powder your eye up to soak up all that extra oil. Then go in with a gel or fast drying liquid liner and then go over the liner with a translucent powder. i know it's quite a mission but it doesn't take too long when being done and it last forever. I use either MAC Blacktrack gel eyeliner or Inglot's eyeliners (in gel)... hope this helps, but setting is everything.

The essence gel liner will not budge. Arguably as powerful as any Colorstay liners and it only costs 2.49 at Ulta
