What do you wear in the heat? Lately it's been in the 100's where I live and I haven't felt like putting much on except for sunscreen and eyeliner but I really do miss wearing lipstick
Where I'm from Chicago, we use to have heat waves like that and I would still do a full face for whatever reason and couldn't wait to take it off at the end of the day. But since moving to WA, I just use a good primer and/or milk of magnesia to absorb oil and it usually does the trick in absorbing oil and making my makeup last all day.
Lip stains are awesome for hot weather, because they soak completely in, and then a regular Chapstick on top makes them look like a smooth lipstick. Also gel blush mixed with a bit of sunscreen is awesome too. When the heat gets bad or I going somewhere hot (like the beach) this is my makeup routine: waterproof liner and makeup (I love lash stiletto in water proof), tinted sunscreen for the face, cheek/lip stain mixed with sunscreen for cheeks, lip stain on lips, Chapstick with SPF 50. I like the tinted sunscreen because it looks like a little foundation, and you hav to reapply sunscreen anyway so nobody's gonna look at you funny if you need to adjust it. (: good luck.
I'm going to second Katelynn on the lip stains. I do the same thing, stain plus balm with a high SPF. I also use Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. That will make whatever you put on your face foundation/concealer wise stay put. It's awesome!
