Okay so homecoming is coming up in about two weeks. I made an appointment to get my hair done professionally, but I don't know what I want the lady to do. Also, I'm doing my own makeup, what should I do? Links to tutorial would be great! Thanks :)
You could do a really light nude eye with a cat eye and then a bold lip :) really classy and retro. As for hair...with that I would personally do soft curls.
Wow! These are great ideas :)
Do you know of any good YouTube tutorials for smokey eyes or cat eyes? I'm a total beginner when it comes to anything more than super natural
Oooh! If your have shoulder length hair or longer, you should ask you hair dresser to pull your hair back, tighter on sides looser on top (not quite "bump" just enough to keep it from angling your face) and curl your hair in small ringlets. I think it a fairly common style, I'll see I I can find an example for you (: also, I think it would beautiful if you did a plum/grey/silver smoky eye. The plum would go only on your lash line and gently smudged to the first crease of your eye, the grey in the crease of your eye, getting lighter as you go up, with a light silver in the inside corners of your eyes and over the top half of the gray. I know you will look beautiful no matter what, have fun!! (:
Agreed Zoe (: I meant it as eyeshadow, but it could be either, or both! I prefer for myself to use black eyeliner if my shadow is the same, but that's just because it helps my short lashes look longer.
don't forget that flash photography washes you out! http://m.youtube.com/index?&des... she has some great tips on hot to not look washes from the flash. and of course to smile! :)

Wow! That's beautiful. U should definitely do a smokey eye with some kind of pink lipstick or gloss. Minimal amounts of blush since the eye is smokey.
