I have naturally kinky curly hair. I sometimes want a looser curl look. I have not been able to achieve this look with a curling iron. Any rollers or materials out there that can help create a loser curl without having to straighten it first?

I know exactly what u mean, my hIt is very curly/frizzy and I always have to straighten it first then the next day I curl it, it sucks lol

There is nothing kinky about your hair beautiful. You hair looks to be a 3A since the curl pattern is wavy/curly....not tight curls with the circumference of a pencil. If you're looking for a more relaxed and even curl pattern you should try the biggest flexible rods you can get at a local beauty supply store. Set with a good leave conditioner and a styler you should wake up with a wavy mane of hair. Requires no heat whatsoever and healthier for your hair than using heat appliances. :)

Thanks Shelley this isn't what my hair looks like wet so my girls are much more curly I had put my up on a bun mid dry to get this look
