I am obsessed with lipsticks so I say get some lipsticks. It's nice to mix up lipstick, lip liner and gloss so having a bit of all three keeps your options open :)

I don't like the gloss feel of lipgloss so I love lipstick!! Plus you can get the look of gloss with some lipsticks depending on the finish

im obsessed with lipsticks too, i like to buy every shade in any color but maybe you dont wanna spend that much money, so you can get different colors and create the shade that you prefer :)

I use lipsticks for color and keep 1 clear gloss around in case I want a glossy finish. Just apply the gloss with your finger so the tube doesn't get lipstick colors all over it.

i love lipstick & choose it first over lip gloss but theres nothing wrong with both! as far as cost goes, it all depends on what brand you get & where you buy it. I do think of cost & hesitate only when a lipstick or gloss cost over $23, thats when i start comparing! You should check out NYX at Ulta if money is an issue, they usually have buy 1 get 1 half off or buy 1 get 1 free deals, or check out Revlon at CVS, their lipsticks & lip glosses are so pretty now. And i recommend NYX lip liners!

i like applying lip liner first or sometimes by itself, I feel like it last longer. Sometimes I'll add a lipstick on top of that. I have a love hate relationship with lipgloss, it loves me but I hate it. lol
