Need help on hair dye info!!

I am dying my hair colors on the bottom of my hair pink and purple but I want to refresh the top part my darker brown. So When you dye your hair how long after does usually does the color come out when you wash it?

Since most pinks and purples are semi permanent, the color will fade a little with each wash and will probably be mostly faded within a month, depending on how often you shampoo xo.

Yes but I wanted to refresh my dark brown and wanted to know how long I should wait to die the others.
