Pour about a tea spoon of cinnamon into a container. Cut open the tea bag and pour about an equal amount of it's contents into the container with the cinnamon. Add a teaspoon of warm water to help them mix together.
After I've washed and/or steamed my face, I apply this mixture to my face like a scrub. After about 10 minutes, rinse off with cool water. Your skin looks and feels so fresh and clean! I love this 'recipe' and use it once a week :)
Just thought I'd share it on beautylish, you have to try it!
Awesome thanks for clearing that up for me, I was going to add cinnamon to my face mask one day but I was like wait, will thiis burn?? Haha but good to know it won't. Going to try this out with some ginger and honey tea since they are both good for you inside and out!

You only need 2 things!
- Cinnamon (powder)
- Tea bag
Pour about a tea spoon of cinnamon into a container. Cut open the tea bag and pour about an equal amount of it's contents into the container with the cinnamon. Add a teaspoon of warm water to help them mix together.
After I've washed and/or steamed my face, I apply this mixture to my face like a scrub. After about 10 minutes, rinse off with cool water. Your skin looks and feels so fresh and clean! I love this 'recipe' and use it once a week :)

That is awesome! Does it matter what kind of tea you use? I am going to try this!

Nope, the cinnamon is just a bit tingly :)
And I just used a regular tea bag, so I don't think it matters :)

Cinnamon is great but please be careful when using cinnamon as it is one of the under diagnosed causes of allergens!

^^ I second that, that's why I only suggest using a small amount and doing this once a week, it's very good for your skin but in small doses :)
