I have large pores around my nose. NOT ON MY NOSE. Around it /: It's so noticeable, especially under the unflattering light at school. Help? I already cleanse my pores every night and morning, and use makeup to cover them. By 4th period, they're back and won't go away!
if you don't want to use foundation to cover them (which sometimes makes them bigger), apply some moisturizer and then some foundation primer alone. it helps to matte-ify your face and also makes the look of pores smaller- you can't actually reduce the size of them, despite what a lot of products tend to claim. invest in a super good primer!
foundation sometimes makes your pores look bigger* sorry, haha.
You should try Witch Hazel Pore Toner, its good and also control break outs :)
I have worked for Estee Lauder and the Idealist is so helpful!
try Marks "need a shrink pore minimizer" its inexpensive like $8.00 and you can almost surely find it on sale from its original price wich is already super low :) so you would pay like $5.00 for it. and if you dont like it you can retrun it and get your $5 bucks back even after you opened it and used it.
I really like Benefit's Porefessional if you're looking for a primer of some sorts under your foundation. I have large pores around my nose too (it makes me feel like a dog with whiskers lol) and it helps.
I have large pores in my t-zone (mainly on the side of my nose as well) and I use a primer before makeup application. I wear foundation sometimes and what I learned to do to further diffuse the look of large pores I take my foundation brush and I kinda pat that area with a little more foundation till its completely blended in. You can also use a stippling brush to achieve the same thing but I found my method to work a little better.

Make sure you are 1) cleansing properly-Clarisonic will work wonders for large pores around the nose. I use it 2x a day, morning & night. You might benefit from a 2) facial with a glycol peel. Extractions during the facial (if done properly) will remove the debri, oil, buildup in your pores allowing them to shrink to a smaller size. The debri clogged in pores causes pores to expand. "Pore shrinking" primers probably won't be very effective.
3) exfoliate at home with glycol acid. Murad T-Zone Pore Refining Gel is fantastic! Cleanse, tone, apply the tzone gel, moisturize, protect (spf 30), foundation.
With these steps, you will be on your way to smaller pores! Goodluck =)

To tightning pores maybe you can use Etude House Mini Size U Gift Set, i made a review about it here: http://ditaindahlestari.blogspot.co...
its quite difficult to find it, but its work great on me.
And for cheap home remedies, you can try egg mask (without the yolk) 2-3 times a week.

there is no way to shrink pores.....unfortunatly....what you want to do is more skin care then makeup...all makeup and "pore shrinking/tightening" products do is fill in the pores which can actually cause breakouts...you want to make sure that your cleansing properly Jena's recommendation for the clarisonic is spot on...it works by shaking all the debris out of the pores...this will not shrink you pores tho...imagine your pores in the shape of a v....the top part being the part you can see on the surface of your skin...once the pore is stretched the only thing you can do is shave off the top layers until you get down to the smaller bottom part of the v...you do this thru exfoliation...you want to exfolite 2-3 times a week depending on the sensitivity of your skin...its not a instant fix becasue your skin takes about 30-60 days to renew itself depending on your age...so give a really good and personalized skincare regimen a couple of months before you see any big changes...hope this helps...
Try benefits porefessional! It does wonders :)
Not to be disrespectful but please ignore the comments on how there is no way to shrink pores, there is a way but not many people no about it, I swear this is not some kind of fake product I'm trying to sell to you but have you ever heard of Accutane? 95% of acne cleanesers dont work for me cause im alergic to Benzoil Peroxdide! Before bed i put Petroleum Jelly on my face! Not only dose it help my acne but also softens my face! Cheep to!
PoreFessional by benefit . Life saver. just press it into ur pores and ur done
cheapest and most effective: (i have large pores in the same area) salycilic face wash to clean dirt from pores, rub a little bit longer over pores, any toner or witch hazel, and a clay mask (queen helene mint julep mask is AWESSOOMMEEEEE) and a light moisturizer (i use oil of olay combination/oily moisturizer, or u can go to Lush cosmetics, they have GREAT all natural products) during the winter i use the mask like once a month, and the summer months like once a week, but mostly just where i get really oily like my t zone and those pores. also use a face primer. it helps a lot by filling in those pores and creating a smooth finish. i have used MAC's before and loved it, but its pricey. i now use a rimmel primer and its pretty good. *remember that pores get bigger bc of dirt impaction. try to keep ur face as clean as possible and always wash ur make up off before bed. hope this helps love!!! xoxo
