Hello girls & boys!

I've been using basic eye make up remover but lately it's just not doing the job on my eye make up.

My eyes are left sore and I have trouble removing mascara/gel liner.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I've heard people say they use a water type cleanser?

Ponds Cold Cream! It will remove your eye makeup easily without you having to rub the makeup off so hard! :)

The best one I've ever used is the one from Lancome, but now I use the CVS - Neutrogena knock off and it works just fine on my gel liner and waterproof mascara... which one are you using?

I have a bottle of some target brand oil-free makeup remover and I love it. It's so soft and gentle and it gets everything off. It's by up and up and it's in a purple bottle I think. It also lasts like a year.

For eye makeup I definitely recommend Vaseline. It gets EVERYTHING off- even waterproof mascara! It's really gentle and it helps moisturize your eye area and lashes- bonus!! I just take a little lump and smear it around, wipe off with a kleenex, and repeat if necessary

I use Qtips with pure olive oil. I was reading beauty mag and this dermatology was introducing this and it is really working ,super quick and gentle.
When I am extremely tired and sleepy i use water type like Bioterma one.

I use oil as well. It gets even waterproof impossible to remove make up. Plus my skin feels sooooo good afterwards. Just make sure to rinse completely so you don't leave oil sitting on your face. A regular bottle of oil is super cheap and lasts forever.

Baby oil works great on waterproof mascara, gel and liquid liner. It also keeps my eyes from getting dry flaky patches

I'm a HUGE, HUGE fan of the e.l.f. eye makeup remover pads. They take off the makup quickly and they don't sting your eyes. You have to use one on each eye, but they are only one dollar and you get 18 in a pack, so buy a lot.

I use purederm makeup remover cleansing tissue, it easy and effective.

I use Clinique's Take The Day Off Balm! Its amazing, and removes all my eye makeup without even having to rub my eyes a lot like I do with makeup wipes. Its probably similar to the Pond's Cold Cream that Christina suggested above. The tub of it has also lasted me almost a year now (I got it last July and I only just hit the bottom of it, and that was with using it on my whole face not just my eyes). I'd highly recommend it!

I use MakeUpForever's Sens'Eyes. It works wonders.

Just use baby oil it takes everything off! And makes your skin smooth I have sensitive skin and it doesn't break me out, if you don't like the smell(it's my favorite smell) just use mineral oil :) its also a lot cheaper then make up remover, and NO chemicals!

I use The Body Shop's Chamomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I have tried dozens of makeup removers and this is by far the best!! It doesn't sting my eyes at all. It's $15 for a huge bottle so it lasts a long time and doesn't leave any residue or anything on my eyes.

I use Neutrogena's Fresh Foaming cleanser (it comes in a baby blue bottle with a white pump) It's very gentle on the skin and gets rid of everything, even stubborn mascara or eyeliner, and doesn't make your skin feel sore or red at all.

Thanks for all of these tips. I've had a lot of problems with makeup removers. I think I'll try some of the natural suggestions.

I'm using the bioderma one it's perfect !!!
It's for sensitive skins

One other tip no matter what you use don't RUB it in to you delicate eye skin/eyelash area. All removers work better if you place a cotton round with the product on it on your eye and press for 5 to 7 seconds then gently wipe away.

I agree with Kayli H. Vaseline remooves every thing. How ever it dose leave a very thick and greesie feeling to the skin, so you would have to wash your face imediately. I recomend for you to try Avons eye makeup remover lotion. It's good for the sensitive eye areas and it is not expensive.

hey lisa..:) i would suggest cold cream..really gentle..plus its a great all over makeup remover..i love it when i only have to use one product...after i wash my face i always use a qtip to remove any lowlash residue...heres a link to my cold cream review...hope this helps...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eA3uEzVnrow
