Hi everyone, is an eye cream necessary to prevent wrinkles? I use yes to cucumbers cooling gel and then I apply Clinique all about eye serum because I'm prone to dark circles and puffiness. However, taking care of your skin in your 20's is important for how you will age later. Anyone have any recommendations on eye creams that prevent wrinkling? I use at least 15 spf everyday in my moisturizers and make-up. Thanks :)
I use Josie Maran's Argan Oil for the eye area. For daytime I use a sunscreen just for the eye area that I received from my dermo since I like being outdoors a lot. Sunscreen made exclusively for the eye area and a great pair of sunglasses is the best preventive care to slow down the aging process in regards to your eyes. That what I rely on. Oh...also check out ColorScience for a mineral version spf for the eye area as well. Its called Sunforgettable Mineral Powder Eyescreen SPF 30. It goes for $20 on their website. Hope this was some help.
I think you're doing great as far as preventing is concerned. Like Shelley mentioned sunglasses are your best friend because it will prevent you from squinting in the sun . If you're going to be out all day bring an SPF with you to reapply to further protect your skin :)

I always worry when I am applying my eyemakeup "am I tugging too hard? Am I making myself wrinkly?!"

IMO, you will never completely prevent wrinkles. I'd also suggest that you don't need a separate eye cream if your moisturizer is light enough.
