So......
I heard that instead of just popping those prenatal pills in your mouth and swallowing for long fast hair growth and overall healthiness, you are SUPPOSE to actually "crush the pills" and then wash your hair with them that way. Is this true? sounds super weird, but im kinda tempted to try it haha :)

For your health and safety, please speak with your doctor before taking Prenatal pills just to make your hair grow long. These pills are intended only for pregnant women, if you are not pregnant and take these, you can put yourself in danger.

Please please please do not take pre natal pills, if you aren't pregnant, wait ESPECIALLY if you are not pregnant.

Always research what you put in your body. Yes, having long hair is great , but do you what the side effects that come with these pills just for a few inches of hair?

I have never been pregnant, so I'm not to familiar with them. But one thing I do know you will gain water weight..

I have heard and seen women state that prenatal pills grows out your hair, so in that case if you choose, only put it in your hair, not in your body.

If you want to take a supplement try just taking biotin everyday and eat healthier. did your hair stop growing due to too much heat?

There's nothing in prenatal vitamins that would hurt a person... Unless they're allergic to something in them. Which even the doctor wouldn't be able to tell. You're actually supposed to start taking prenatals once you start your period, to make your body healthy and suited for a baby and stuff. At least start taking it once you're sexually active. I'm not, I'm saving myself for marriage, but I take them because the iron in them is easier to absorb. I honestly haven't noticed a difference in my hair and nails. And if you're putting it on your hair, and you're going to wash it off, hey, why not try? haha

I don't really have anything to say about the pre-natal vitamins, but I second the biotin. I think it works wonders. And it's way cheaper than pre-natal pills as far as I have found. I take it once a day. My nails and skin look a lot healthier too.

Exactly Zoe, thats the main supplement in those hair skin and nail vitamins. I also take evening primrose to stop shedding

Putting vitamins on your hair will do nothing, it's already dead. The part that determines your hair growth is the root, under the skin surface.

Prenatal supplements aren't dangerous for you, you're supposed to take them for months before you plan to get pregnant. Whatever your body isn't going to use, it gets rid of down the toilet.

I've taken Biotin and it made my skin SUPER oily and I broke out after a month. So I stopped. :(

I keep reading about biotin and I definitely want to try it. I hear it's great for so many different things. I've never heard of Primrose but it sounds interesting to try.

I've taken prenatal vitamins when I wasn't pregnant and I experienced zero negative effects from it. My doctor actually encourages it because of the folic acid(especially if you're planning to have children in the future) and the fact that they can be much gentler on the tummy than the common non-pregnancy formulas. They are perfectly harmless.
