BB Cream is called Blemish Balm or Beauty Balm is really popular in Korea and Japan its basically a coverage but primes,tints,moisturizes, and conceals you don't have to use foundation, idk which ones are the best but SmashBox,Clinique,Garnier have BB creams

I've heard that the Shiseido's BB cream is very good. I haven't bought it yet for myself but maybe some day.

The Japanese Maybelline BB cream is really good! i think you can find it on ebay. :) it's thicker than a tinted moisturizer, but thinner than a liquid foundation. & BB creams usually contain more skincare ingredients and are better for your skin than foundation. they can be used alone or even as a primer with foundation on top. they're very versatile. :)

I just bought the Garnier BB Cream and I'm really happy with it.. It's a lot cheaper than the others and although I cant compair since I've never tried those, I cant say that I want to, I'm happy with the drug store version.. I personally still have to use a bit of concealer under my eyes and on any 'in your face" blemishes or scars but this is a great everyday option thats a step up from tinted moisturizer!

BB cream stands for blemish balm. It is sort of an amped up version of a tinted moisturizer.
It started in germany and was used for post laser treatment patients. It was meant to protect their skin while still helping to give some coverage. So it's basically an all in one. It has a built in primer, spf, sheer to medium coverage, helps control oil etc etc

estee lauder bb cream is great, bb cream is at its best for people who want something more natural or if you're on the run and dont have time to apply your products one at a time. It's well known for having sunblock, antioxidants, moisturizer, and just a tint of make-up all in one.

Western BB creams are nothing more than glorified and overpriced tinted moisturizers, and everything I've read suggests they suck.
If you want a good BB cream, go Asian. Skin79, Missha, Skinfood, among other brands.

If you are looking to get a BB cream and not spend alot, I would definitely try the Garnier BB Cream before you spend on the pricier ones. I have been using it LITERALLY everyday! And I am not and never have been a makeup every day kinda girl, Im way to lazy for that lol but this stuff will even out your skin tone and give u a gorgeous healthy glow. I only use concealer under my eyes because it does such a good job and evening out the rest of my skin. If you r looking for full coverage, then this isnt for u. But if u r looking for something that will help you look fresh-faced without the hassle of using foundation and having to blend and all that, this is perfect! Its creamy so it goes on easy and effortlessly. I do use a loose powder lightly over it because i have oily skin. I usually have to use blotting paper throughout the day but its a small price to pay to not look like a zombie at work. Wow, sorry I wrote so much!

I agree with Shelly, the Garnier cream is basically a tinted moisturizer. I did a blog post a few months back on this particular product if you are interested, the product didn't actually do what it claimed to do but it did work well as a primer for my foundation. Also, Garnier's BB cream doesn't have as many ingredients as the Asian creams do and also does not contain any whitening/bleaching agent. The thing that I really didn't care for about the product was that it came in only two shades =[ and they kind of look a bit orange.

If I were you I would try the Garnier BB cream before spending a ton on Smashbox, NARS, etc, so you can see if you like the general product. Garnier works fine for me and I love it, but I am sure there are much better out there!(:

I totally did it backwards :) Basically, I researched and found that I wanted to try Smashbox. $38 later, I am SUPER HAPPY with the product. This whole moisturizer/primer/concealer/foundation/SPF in one is a pretty cool concept. Smashbox does not disappoint! I did want to try other brands as well though, I also purchased the Garnier version. $12.99 was definitely a steal!! I will say this product was just as good if not better than Smashbox for me! And it has a great scent too! I'm not going to lie, I will probably go buy another brand to continue my quest for a favorite. I am definitely hooked on BB creams!...I even got my grandma and her sister addicted too! They use Garnier :)

I think it depends on what you're looking for the BB cream to do. If you want something with anti aging benefits, an Eastern BB cream might be right for you, otherwise I would just go with the tinted moisturizer. Honestly, I encourage everyone to try products for themselves because I may not care for a product that does wonders for someone else every BODY is different =] So go out there and see for yourself!

When first time I visited Korea my guide tour introduced me to BB cream, the one I usually use is from MISSHA M Perfect Cover. Really easy to apply on my model faces with flawless result. The price is also really good and safe to use anytime.
