100% Pure coffee eye cream helped me out a lot. It's hard to get rid of if it's hereditary. It may be due to a lack of sufficient sleep. LisaEldridge did a great video on this on YouTube with tips.
I have dark circles too and the product I bought for it was by Benefit. It worked wonders and the tiny container lasts me over a year because you hardly have to use any.
For blue dark under eyes I suggest an orange like colored concealer. Make sure to blend it in well!!! NYX cosmetics makes a pretty inexpensive one. Reason you would choose orange is because its the opposite of blue on the color wheel. Also old fashion tricks like getting plenty of water and sleep help do the job.
My dark circles are really bad, and they're hereditary. :( I use eve pearl salmon concealers, and those are ABSOLUTE MAGIC!!! O.O I also have one in my pro-kit. It comes with three shades in the wheel, one for lighter skin, medium skin, and darker skin. So that's awesome. I use the light one. :P Once I finish the light part off, I put it in my pro-kit, lol. But those are just insanely amazing. ^.^ Expensive though...
refrigerate two spoons for 15-25 minutes, put over your eyes until they turn back to room temp.Do this every day until you notice some difference. Then do it every week or so.
This shrinkens your blood vessels, and makes the dark spots and wrinkles go away:D
@Aisha - thanks! I'm definitely trying that out, because I know for a fact that I have weak blood vessels so that sounds like it would help in my case!
I would get your blood work done at your doctors and see if you are deficient in anything. I did this and found out I was really low in Vitamin D. It helped my dark circles a lot and my appearance in general when I started talking it in liquid form.
I've read/heard that dark circles are caused by blood leakage from the tiny little blood vessels under you delicate eye area too... you can use a product like Preparation H (and yes, it's used to treat hemorrhoids- which is totally embarassing to buy... so yeah) but it works! Just dab it under your eyes but be sure not to get any IN your eyes.
Take this advice with a grain of salt though- I'm not a doctor and this is not the intended use of this product, but if you google it undereye circles, you can read more about this technique! But you know? The best thing for undereye circles is really just making sure you're getting enough sleep, drinking enough water, and having your head propped up enough at night so the blood isn't pooling under your eyes. I'd try that first, before you invest any more $$$ into fixing the problem!
Yumi - good idea!
Angela - I've heard about Prep H helping under eye puffiness. I wonder what the active ingredient is in it...and if I can find that somewhere else. In the meantime...prep H is totally worth a try :)!
Like many said it's hereditary...but sleep and lots of water definetly help. I also started using Genefique eye cream under my regular eye cream and it has helped a lot. But I also have to resort to the salmon colored concealer for a "flawless" finish.
i use Boi-ing by benefit, and then well rested by bare minerals ontop of that...it is now the only way i cover my bad bags now..I have been trying different ingredients to help with dark circles but i cannot find something to completely eliminate them

I heard that putting used tea bags over your eyes for ten minutes works too...that should help reduce the darkness and puffiness if you have any.

I use a Salmon/Peach coloured concealer or one that is lighter than my skin tone. As for removing them, I wish I knew how to ha! xox
