A great eye makeup gentle remover: baby oil mixed with aloe Vera gel. If you don't like having to mix it so often, I really like Mary Kay's classic and Estée Lauders.
Finger nail scissors, lash glue, waterproof mascaras, brow stencils, stipple sponge, vaseline for lips, pallets of neutalizers, oil blotting papers and of course your composure and confidence.
My bad... I use the back of my hand for mixing! A sanitized hand mind you but I figure if the likes of Billy B, Scott Barnes and Mario can do it... I can do it too!! Everything, everyone has said is spot on! Weird :) I thought I was the only one to pack tampons, nail varnish and deodorant!!! I also have my own personal favourite perfumes on hand just in case... I can't keep track of how many brides don't have perfume for their big day..... Awesome information in the posts above!!
-A MIX of skincare - i love dermalogica, khiels & cleanse of oils too
-Mac Face & Body Foundation as it's great on all skin types and can be built up from a very very light coverage to a full coverage. And It's glowy but to make it matte just add translucent powder.
-Bobbie Brown Black Gel Liner
- A decent Primer - I have various ones in my kit for various skin types
-Mac Fix + Spray - great for having at hand for cleaning mistakes but also to refresh makeup
-Muji Small Cotton Buds/Q Tips
-Translucent Powder - I like Mac Pro or Mac Prep and Prime
-A decent Red Matte Lippie - I like Russian Red by Mac
-Mac Pro Pigments, Chromacakes & Paint Sticks in the primary colour shades and also black and white
-Illamasqua Haligon Illuminator is beautiful - I use this ALL the time
I could go on and on but those are some of my essentials
Also... Contact solution chopsticks a little iPhone speaker to avoid dead silence flashlight first aid kit Benadryl tampons &pads/liners, a travel sewing kit travel hot glue gun and glue travel ironing board and glovebox iron plug adapters believe me I have used everything I have mentioned above. I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. http://www.facebook.com/ElanaRoseMa...
Tierra: I have the NYX Mobile Makeup Station and it's great; especially when you're working in tight and unusual spaces/places. I've found at times people don't have tables and chairs I need, so I just open that puppy up and get's to working. And the Chair...any Directors chair is great, it's a back saver.
* I use Cetaphil moisturizer; it's budget friendly and recommended by dermatologist.
* I bring my color wheel
* I bring my own lighting kit.
**Portable Bluetooth speaker to play "Pandora" :-) This really helps the Brides remain calm, they find themselves humming/singing which distracts them from all that's going on around them.
I also use the "Hygienic Hand Palette" from Glamcor. If you're not in to using a handheld mixing palette, this is the next best thing. It does make the client feel better to see that you're not mixing product on the back of your hand.
