I use dish washing soap with a little bit of vegetable oil and it cleans, if you wash all the soap off you shouldn't get acne.

If you want a cheap way, shampoo mixed with olive oil. After you finish rinsing it out, take conditioner wash it with that to keep the softness in. Rinse it out once again and leave out to dry :) super clean and they end up smelling great as well.
