Invest in a good shampoo. Ulta or a salon. As for flake free shampoos, try Tea Tree shanpoo by paul mitchell. Id buy jus a small bottle of it ans use it up to 2 times a week to help with flakeyness.

You could try head and shoulders, and also deep conditioning it.
