HELP!!! Hooded lid

I have uneven eye lids (one is hooded) I love eye shadow but I haven't found a technique to make my eyes look even with make on. Help please?! And thank you in advance ;)

One eye is hooded & the other my crease is clearly visable. So when I apply eye shadow and/or liner my eyes look completely different. I've tried using tape to make the hooded eye even but it never lasts very long...
