So over it. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and breaking out worse then I have ever in my life. Even on my chest an back and I have never had bad acne before. Wondering if this is normal and does it go away after baby comes? Or is this my life now lol. Thanks I know it's mostly 13 year olds on here but thought I would try.

It's 100% normal. it's caused becuase of all the hormones surging through your body. I wouldn't suggest applying any topical acne treatment because you do not know how it will impact the baby. your skin should return to normal once the baby is born. In the mean time I would try adjusting your diet and see if that helps.

I have 3 girls and its normal that you get acne or brown spots on face it goes away after baby is born keep on taking your prenatal vitamins

I was opposite. my skin stayed abnormally clear while I was preg but I did get what the call pregnancy mask where I had discoloration. I got really dark for my normal shade. my daughter is now a yr and a half. my skin is back to its normal crazy antics.. :-)
my best friend just had a baby a couple months ago and like you she had. breakouts thru pregnancy..
I'm assuming this is your first baby, babycenter.com had pretty good info when I was expecting and a large community of moms and moms to be that comment after every article. get more info there.
and hang in there, there are a tons of kids on here but also a good group of moms. they'll add their input in due time. congrats!..

There's not much you can do. its hormones. they definitely tell you not to use acne products. I forgot to say that.

Haha Cassandra :) thanks!! And Naomi yes it's my first child and I have the babycenter app I love it :) and I'm not using acne products I heard that's a no no. My boyfriend ordered a face wash online that's meant for pregnancy so hopefully it helps :) I'm tired of it I won't even put makeup on it it's not worth it ha.

Hi;) I'm 23 and having two beautiful girls... Had acne in both pregnancies but it goes away eventually...I know it's not very nice as everyone would like to glow during this time but this not always happen unfortunately :( good luck on your baby and try not to stress yourself... It's not good for the baby :))

So I'm pregos too! 15 weeks! My acne flared bad :( I've been using pore refining by netrogeno and there fresh foam cleaner one morning one night a toner for oily acne skin buy clinical care called conquer zit twice daily and benzoyl peroxide treatment at night. And I'm slowly clearing just started the over haul a week ago! All safe btw most topical acne treatment is. Good luck! Watch your chocolate intake too

Its normal if you was face mask to try , try natural face mask like lemon and sugar, or guacamole, oats , honey and plain yogurt to sooth you face just look up natural face mask to try but it does go away your hormones are just every where right now do not try any over the counter products of you can go to the dermo and ask

My mom had bad acne on her back when she was pregnant with my sister. It went away after she was around 8 months pregnant. It should definitely go away after the baby's born

I commented because you said even though we are mostly 13 yr olds. When a lot aren't I'm sorry it bothered you so much?
