Just cause your flat cheated does not mean you have to dress a certain way. A sweater can be dressed up, or down. I won't make you look so, well small haha. As for your parents I really don't know... In what will they not let you wear, that will help. Also here are a couple sweaters.

Emily. Ok so printed pants are really in like floras and Aztec. For shirts denim shirts, you can find them with lace and rhinestones. Also the shirts with the little flair at the bottem. For jackets depending on where you are either the fitted or the bigger ones. These can all really make outfits together, also mix and match prints are in. Just make sure it's the same color.
