It's honestly unbelievable how much fake cosmetics there is on Ebay, especially MAC! It's even more unbelievable how many people fall for it too. So to help you guys, I've started a mini series on my blog on how to identify and avoid all fake MAC products!
Check it out!

Reading your blog post...
Well, MAC was founded in Canada so I wouldn't be too~ surprised if there was Canadian/UK/Singaporean spelling.
(But their headquarters is in New York, so :P)

Rikki is right, MAC always uses Canadian/British spelling and a lot of French names/pronunciations. Like colour and creme.

My friend bought a bucket load of fake MAC products and she had no idea! She was so excited with her purchase and I was mortified! I mean, it's it obvious that MAC doesn't produce limited edition products such as Fafi and Hello Kitty anymore?
I wish I could have told my friend much earlier cause the pigmentation on them fake MACs are bad and we have no idea what harmful chemicals may be in the products!
All in all, we're better off with NYX or a cheaper brand if we're on a beauty budget!

Julie is right. There are a bunch of fake Urban Decay products on eBay as well. I don't even trust it. If I'm going to need a high-end brand, I'm coming out of pocket and buying from a credible store.

I fell victim to buying in that MAC scheme on E-Bay. It was a pigment for $7.50 and thought I was getting a good deal. They made it look the EXACT SAME, everything from the packaging to the labels on the box and the little paper that comes with it. Then I compared it to a real one and noticed some tiny differences, so you have to be VERY CAREFUL when finding stuff like that, if it's not at a MAC store. They will basically clone everything so you can't tell the difference. You're better off spending your money in the actual MAC store and knowing that it's real than spending money at all on something that's not real & who knows whats really in the ingredients. I didn't use that pigment once and threw it out. Definitely not taking a chance.
