Which are the best?? I am thinking of buying one because I prefer to do my own nails...any suggestions? which brands are better and more cost effective?

Love mine! You can do anything (shellac, gel, acrylic) with a 36watt. I found mine on amazon, or you can go to a discount nail place near you :) hope that helps!! I got a kit on amazon/eBay that gave me the lamp, brushes, full manicure pedicure kit and much more for under 90$
